Riley O’Brien is an Associate Attorney at Sinapi Law Associates, Ltd., where he primarily practices plaintiff-side employment law.

Before joining Sinapi Law, Riley spent several years practicing at the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, where he served as a Civil Honors Attorney and Special Assistant Attorney General. During that time, Riley worked in the Civil and Community Rights Unit, representing the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Attorney General’s Office in lead poisoning prevention litigation. He also investigated and litigated cases under the Deceptive Trade Practices Act as a member of the Consumer Protection Unit.

Riley graduated from Northeastern University in 2017 and received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2022, where he was a Public Interest Law Fellow.

In his off-hours, Riley enjoys musical theater, spending time outdoors, and playing flag football.

Riley is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and North Carolina.
